Branches of the Authority

The Authority’s departments in the governorates:

  • Authority Department at Al Batinah North Governorate
  • Authority Department at the Governorate of Dhofar.

Their jurisdiction is as follows:

  • Supervise the preparation of job seekers records in governorates according to the forms prepared for this purpose.
  • Receive all incoming subjects to the department from various entities and prepare it for presentation to the CEO.
  • Coordination with all governmental and private units to facilitate the procedures related to the Authority’s activities in the governorate.
  • Benefit from the categorized specializations of the National Register to study the developments of the national workforce and the opportunities and the potential to recruit in the governorate.
  • Issuing registration cards to citizens of the governorate who are seeking for jobs, showing the civil number in the register and all the data in the application form for this.
  • Update the database of citizens’ who are job seekers.
  • Counting and registering citizens who were recruited in the State Administration units and private sector enterprises of the governorate.
  • To maintain communication with the competent authorities in the governorate and to provide them with the necessary data for job seekers in coordination with the relative Authority’s departments.
  • To submit periodic reports on the work and activities of the department in the governorate.
  • Follow up the implementation of the directives of Chief Executive Officer with respect to work of the department.
  • Any other duties within the jurisdiction of the Department.

The Departments Exercise their competencies through the following two Divisions:

Registration Division: with the below tasks:

  • Prepare records for job seekers in the governorate, according to the forms prepared for this purpose in the governorate.
  • Registration of national manpower in the register according to its varied sub-records and classifications.
  • Issuing registration cards to citizens of the governorate who are seeking jobs, showing the civil number in the register and all the data in the application form for this.
  • Coordination with all units related to the work of the Authority to facilitate the procedures related to the Authority’s activities in the governorate
  • Update job seekers data, extract the CV and the To Whom it May Concern certificate to stakeholders.
  • Continuous update, development and review of record data and periodically audit it and on an ongoing basis in order to avoid duplication or repetition.
  • Any other assigned work within the scope of work of the division.

Follow-up Division with the below tasks:

  • Coordination with the competent authorities in the public and private sectors in the governorate with respect to their workers data in order to monitor their recruitments.
  • Continuous review and audit of data in order to control the quality of the data.
  • Preparation of periodic work progress reports of the Division and its achievements and participation in the extraction of indicators on employment movement in the governorate.
  • Benefit from the categorized specializations of the National Register to study the developments of the national workforce and the opportunities and the potential to recruit in the governorate.
  • Follow-up programs and activities undertaken by the Authority in the governorate and prepare proposals accordingly.
  • Any other assigned work within the scope of work of the division.
